In June, 60 students—including those in Prepanet, aspiring Prepanet candidates, Campeones, and teens from Telebachillerato Higuera Blanca—took part in a hands-on psychology workshop led by our psychologist, Enrique Espino. This session focused on mastering the APA (American Psychological Association) 7th edition format, a globally recognized standard for writing clear, precise, and credible research papers.
Students learned how to properly cite their sources and avoid plagiarism, an essential skill that builds trust, rigor, and professionalism in everything they do. By adopting APA guidelines, our young people are not only improving the quality of their school assignments today, but they are also laying the groundwork to become ethical, effective collaborators in any future academic or professional setting.
At PEACE Punta de Mita, we believe that teaching these fundamental tools goes far beyond simply preparing them for Prepanet deliverables—it is about fostering integrity, responsibility, and a commitment to honest work that will serve them throughout their lives.
Because this is what we’re here for: creating opportunities through education.
