As part of their Social and Emotional Learning course, 23 Prepanet students participated in a special project designed to help them explore how travel, discovery, and dreaming of new places can enrich their lives. Guided by neuroscience insights, they learned how anticipating positive experiences—like visiting inspiring destinations—activates the brain’s reward circuits, releasing dopamine and sparking joy, motivation, and a genuine sense of possibility.
Through this activity, each student created a personal “Decalogue” —ten principles and reflections on what their dream places mean to them and how these experiences shape happiness, connection, and growth. Along the way, they also discovered something often overlooked: Punta de Mita, their own community, is a dream destination for thousands of people around the world. Visitors come here seeking beauty, inspiration, and joy —right in their backyard.
Why does this matter? Because beyond nurturing creativity and positive thinking, it helps them build pride and a sense of belonging. We want our students to feel fortunate to grow up here, to care for their community, and to carry this love into the future —so that one day, they can inspire and guide the next generation.
By planting these seeds now, we’re helping them not just imagine brighter futures, but start creating them—right here, where their journey begins.
