Closing Cycles: A Year of Growth Across Campeones, Campeones Jr., and Keep Going!

As we celebrate the graduation of the 2022–2025 Campeones generation, it is also the perfect moment to reflect on a broader achievement: PEACE’s growing impact on education at all levels. From early interventions in elementary school, to middle and high school support, and adult English learning — our programs continue to open doors, build confidence, and foster lifelong learning across the community.

This year, 68 students participated in the Campeones program across the three years of secondary school:

  • 30 students in first year
  • 18 in second
  • 20 in third year

The culmination of this journey saw 20 graduates, 15 of whom will continue their studies through our partnership with Tec de Monterrey at Prepanet — a milestone that reflects both their commitment and the long-term vision of the PEACE team.

Meanwhile, Campeones Jr. continued its important work in both Punta de Mita and Higuera Blanca, supporting elementary school students from grades 3 through 6. In Punta de Mita, 67 students participated across five different groups. In Higuera Blanca, 48 students took part. Through immersive, after-school English instruction and a supportive classroom environment, 115 children in total benefited from this foundational program — one that strengthens language skills, builds cultural awareness, and sets the stage for future academic success.

Our adult program, Keep Going!, also had a strong showing. Designed for students aged 16 and older, Keep Going empowers individuals to improve their English skills and grow personally and professionally. With two 2-hour sessions per week and a curriculum grounded in the Cambridge system, this year’s participants strengthened their communication abilities, boosted their confidence, and took tangible steps toward new opportunities.

We are incredibly proud of the dedication shown by all our students this cycle. Whether they are just beginning their educational path or pushing forward into new stages of life, their perseverance reminds us why PEACE continues to invest in education as a long-term strategy for community transformation.

Your support makes this possible. By investing in education, you are investing in the future of Punta de Mita. Together, we can continue expanding access to quality learning opportunities — from childhood to adulthood — and build a stronger, more resilient community.
