Prepanet at PEACE: Completing One Cycle, Beginning Another

When we launched Prepanet in partnership with Tecnológico de Monterrey we knew we were opening a door that could transform the future of our young people. One year later, we proudly celebrate the close of our inaugural school year, a cycle filled with challenges, discoveries, and resilience.

For our brave pioneering generation, this marks not an ending but a milestone: the halfway point on their two-year journey toward high school completion. Each student has shown courage, discipline, and an eagerness to learn that inspires us all. Families and staff have stood alongside them, proving once again that education is a collective effort, rooted in love and determination.

With the close of this first cycle, our focus naturally shifted to the future. The admissions process for the 2025–2027 generation brought positive results and we are excited to welcome 40 new beneficiaries from five different communities to Prepanet. As part of the rigorous application process, this new cohort participated in multiple evaluations and interviews. In addition, most of them also completed two challenging onboarding phases focusing on mathematics, digital literacy, and familiarization with online platforms to help prepare them for their academic journey with Prepanet.

This second generation expands the reach of the program, encompassing students not only from Punta de Mita, Higuera Blanca, and La Cruz, but also from Bucerías and Sayulita.

“At PEACE Punta de Mita, admissions are more than just a series of steps—they are an opportunity to hear each young person’s story and ensure they have the academic, human, and technological support they need to reach their full potential,” said Prepanet Coordinator Paloma Bartz of the Prepanet application process.

As we reflect on the previous academic year, we celebrate not only the courage of those who opened the way, but also the spark of hope that keeps growing with every new student who joins. Prepanet is no longer just an academic program—it is a bridge that connects our youth with opportunities they once thought were out of reach and furthers our mission of creating opportunities through education.

Looking ahead, we know this journey is just beginning. With each new generation, we are planting seeds of possibility, resilience, and dreams that will carry our communities forward. Today, with 40 new young people ready to begin and one full generation already paving the way, we feel more inspired than ever to continue walking together because every step they take is a step toward a brighter future for all.
