At PEACE, we believe that education is not just about classroom knowledge, it is also about nurturing responsible, confident, and self-aware young adults. This spring, our Prepanet students took part in a transformative workshop designed to open the door to honest and meaningful conversations about gender, power, and sexuality.
Led by psychologist and tutor Enrique Espino Soria, the workshop created a safe and respectful environment where students engaged deeply with complex topics that often remain unspoken. Rather than simply providing information, the program encouraged critical thinking, self-reflection, and respectful dialogue, equipping young people with tools to better understand themselves and their relationships.
Why is this important? Because adolescence is a crucial time of exploration and growth. It is a moment when values, boundaries, and personal identity begin to take shape. Providing space for open conversation empowers students to make informed, respectful choices and fosters healthier communities.
This workshop also highlights PEACE’s ongoing commitment to addressing critical social and emotional aspects of education, recognizing that learning about oneself and others is key to personal development and wellbeing.
We are proud of the courage and openness our students showed, and grateful for the dedication of our educators who guide these important discussions. Together, we are building a foundation for a future where respect, understanding, and equality are the norm.
